It's an amazing thing watching your children meet each other, bond and begin the process of developing a relationship that lasts a lifetime. We've been home 11 days now, and this time together just the 4 of us has been so precious to me. We've had a lot of visitors in those days, but we've had lots of time to just bond as a family too.
Carson's doing a great job adjusting to being the big brother of the house. Each day he grows closer to her. My favorite thing he does is comes up to her and rubs her head and says "she's so pretty". Yesterday he gave her a kiss on the head for the first time :)
This was taken our first night home from the hospital. We had pizza for dinner. Carson wanted to share his pizza with Lily. I told him she doesn't have any teeth yet so she can't eat it. He asked what can she eat. I told him milk. So he ran to the fridge and asked us to open it so he could get milk for baby sister. So so sweet :)
The second day we were home our dog Bear came home. Picture above was Bear meeting her for the first time. He was very sweet and gentle with her, and gave her a little sniff.
Anytime Lillian's in her bouncer, Carson wants to be right next to her watching. He likes to pull the music cord on the bouncer to play the music for her.
1 week comparison of Carson vs. Lily. They look so much alike to me.
Our first trip to Target with the 4 of us! Carson sat in the bucket part of the cart at first, and then walked either holding Daddy or Mommy's hand the rest of the time.
Love.
