Carson is TWO!
Our sweet, kind, loving, joyful ray of sunshine. When we look at you, we are in awe of how tremendously blessed we are to have you. Each new day, you surprise us and we find ourselves cheering you on with all the new things you learn and accomplish. We are your biggest fans, and we will always be here to encourage you, build you up, and help you grow into the man Jesus has planned for you to be.
"I will delight in your statues; I will not forget your word. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word." - Psalm 119:16-17
It seems like in just a few blinks we've gone from the moment we first saw you on the ultra sound, to the day you were born, your first steps, and now you are counting to 10, running and climbing everything, and growing more and more into a little boy each day. You are our pride and joy, our hearts, our everything. We hope someday you truly know how much we love you.
You love Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, and Mater for Cars. You love playing with your cars, driving them all over the furniture... walls.. You love to carry Woody around, or your baseballs, and it's the cutest thing in the world when you say "Yeeee-hawww" in your sweet little voice.
You love to build things, stack things, and line things up. You love order, putting things back where you found them, and you give the best hugs in the whole world. Mommy's favorite thing is when you climb up next to me on the couch, wrap your arm around me and bring my face to yours. And say "I wuv too Mama". It melts my heart every time.
You love to spend time playing in Daddy's truck. You'll watch Toy Story 2 in there, drive your cars all over the dash board, and pretend to drive in Daddy's drivers seat. Daddy and you love spending time together in that truck.
As you grow, know there will be challenges, or things that go unplanned. Trust in your heart that Jesus will always be there to show you the way and get you through any circumstances. By putting your whole heart in Jesus, you will never be alone.
