Leap Day.

Today I have an extra day in Carson's first year as a baby :) It's February 29th!

Just this past week Carson has mastered waving "Hi" and "Bye" and he's starting to clap to express that he likes something or that he's happy. It's really cool to see him building his communication skills and fun to watch him learn new things.

Here's a few pictures of our guy...

This picture cracks me up! He was making a silly noise when I took this picture.

I love when he sticks his tongue out like this, he does this a lot when he's trying to concentrate on something.

He likes to prop one foot up while riding his truck.

Pumped up Kicks.

Last week Carson got a new pair of shoes! Now that he's starting to walk around with his walker we thought it was time he got a pair that fit. It was so hard to find a shoe because of his chubby little feet wouldn't fit in them.

And then we finally found some! He looks like such a big boy in them :)

Daddy installed the new gate! We had one at the top of our stairs, but it left the first two steps open because of how the railing was. This was our fix since the entry way isn't very baby friendly. He seems too like it! Bear... not so much though... haha.

Carson woke up from a nap and I set him down on his mat to play. He went straight for his drum and drumstick. This boy LOVES to drum.

Afternoon snuggle time on the couch :)

Daddy and Carskey

One of my favorite things in life is watching Caleb and Carson's relationship. Carson is such a Daddy's boy and I love seeing how interested he is in everything Daddy is doing. And Daddy is crazy about his boy, they wrestle, crawl around together, build forts and snuggle. It's safe to say that they are best pals. I thank God everyday for blessing me with an amazing family.

These two are the loves of my life.

Saturday night Daddy built Carson his first fort, Carsy had so much fun crawling in and out of it and dragging his toys in there.

It was dark in the room so my camera phone didn't do a very good job. It was so cute to watch though :)
